ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
CleanHive Pty Ltd — Accessibility Statement Last updated: September 2026
1. Our commitment
CleanHive Pty Ltd ("CleanHive", "we", or "us") is committed to making our platform and website (together, the "Site") accessible to all users, including people with disability. We believe everyone should be able to access, use, and benefit from our cleaning marketplace with ease and dignity.
2. Legal context
Under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) (DDA), it is unlawful to discriminate against a person on the basis of disability in the provision of goods, services, or facilities — including access to digital services and websites. The DDA requires that information and services provided online be made accessible, so far as it is practicable to do so.
We align our approach with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as the recognised standard for digital accessibility. We aim to meet Level AA conformance where reasonably practicable.
3. What we do to support accessibility
We take the following steps to support accessibility on the Site:
-
Design pages with clear headings, readable fonts, and sufficient colour contrast.
-
Provide text alternatives for non-text content where appropriate.
-
Ensure navigation can be performed using a keyboard.
-
Label form fields clearly and provide error messages that are easy to understand.
-
Use descriptive link text and logical page structure.
-
Regularly review the Site for accessibility issues as part of updates and new features.
4. Known limitations
We are continually working to improve accessibility. Some parts of the Site may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including:
-
Some third-party content (such as embedded maps or social media feeds) may not be fully accessible.
-
Older content may not have been updated to current accessibility standards.
-
Some documents uploaded by Providers may not be accessible to all users.
If you encounter a specific accessibility barrier, please let us know and we will make reasonable efforts to address it.
5. Feedback and assistance
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you:
-
Are unable to access any part of the Site,
-
Encounter an accessibility barrier, or
-
Have a suggestion for improvement,
please contact us:
Email: support@cleanhive.com.au
We will respond to your enquiry within a reasonable time and, where practicable, provide the information or service you require in an alternative format.
6. Third-party content
The Site may link to or display content from third parties (such as Airbnb listings, payment processors, or Provider websites). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content and are not responsible for it. We encourage third parties to provide accessible content.
7. Changes to this Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, or relevant standards.
8. Contact
